The Honeymoon’s Over

We flew back from Seattle on Friday, December 4, and got home at about 10:30 PM. Our cat, H, was thrilled to see us, and we rested and relaxed all weekend while gearing up to go back to our respective offices on Monday morning. We were so excited to go back to work!!! (Yes, our coworkers have been reading this….) Actually, we realized mid-trip that our maximum ambitious vacation time seems to be about 10 days; we might have been more into staying on vacation if we’d just been relaxing throughout, but all the hiking, driving, and wandering was a little tiring. It’s nice to be back in the normal swing of things, but married.

So, here’s the question: should we keep up the blog? There are a lot more tourism activities left to do in our lives, we think, and we live in Washington, DC, where there are a ton of touristy things to see just around every corner. At the moment, we’re thinking that we’ll just return to this every time we go on an ambitious vacation – this might not be as interesting if we write, “T read a lot today” every day. Sure, keep up the blog. We value your opinion on places to visit and what to see when we get there. Cheers.

Well, it’s Xmas day and I’m finally reading this “blog” thing. Quite interesting, I must say. I’m reading from the end of the trip backward so I’ll let you know what I think of your honeymoon in reverse. I’d love to read your blog. I’ll vicariously experience the newlywed thing…go Tiff and Chris!

    Happy holidays with love,

    Me
